Wholesome merchandising machines debut at hospitals in Albuquerque and Santa Fe
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – If you completely want a late-night snack, merchandising machines are the go-to answer. However they’re typically filled with sugary, fatty treats, somewhat than fulfilling meals. Now, Meals on Wheels is altering that.
The nonprofit Meals on Wheels has been bringing meals to New Mexicans for many years. And so they’re now providing wholesome meals in merchandising machines. Proceeds from the machines go to supporting Meals on Wheels.
To this point, a number of machines at Presbyterian Medical Heart’s cafe and Presbyterian Rust Medical Heart’s meals courtroom are providing wholesome choices to guests. A number of extra machines supply meals for workers at Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Heart and Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital.
“It is a triple win,” Dennis Plummer, Meals on Wheels of New Mexico chief technique officer, mentioned in a press launch.
